About Me

 Hi, 

My name is Vanessa and these are my health and wellness diaries. 

I plan to use this space to explore my thoughts and feelings about my experience of trying to become a healthier and happier person. 

For most of my life I have been trying to lose weight, eat well and feel better in my own skin. I have learnt a lot over the years but there are also aspects of health and wellness I struggle with on a daily basis. 

I have several long term conditions that have made it more difficult for me personally to achieve my goals and I will talk about these along the way.

I am about as far as you can be from being an expert and I encourage anyone looking to work on their health and wellness to speak with medical professionals first, but I will be writing about what does and does not work for me on my blog. 

I am not expecting anyone to read what I am writing but I am hoping writing down my thoughts and feelings will help me on my journey.
